How to run a test order before launch
The minimum checklist before going live: menu, modifiers, payment, printer and fulfilment.
Checklist
- Test the full order path on mobile and desktop with modifiers and allergens.
- Test delivery and collection — inside a zone, outside a zone, and a collection time slot.
- Confirm payment completes and the order appears in the dashboard.
- Confirm printer or KDS — kitchen and bar tickets print with correct routing.
- Confirm notifications — customer confirmation and staff alert.
Launch rule: Do not go live until a drinks-only order and a food-only order both route to the correct station. Printer routing is the most common launch failure.
