Three integration options
Option 1: Embedded ordering (iframe)
The Food-Ordering.com menu and checkout are embedded directly inside your existing website page. Customers never leave your site — they browse, order, and pay within your own branded environment. Works with WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, and any website that allows HTML embedding.
Best UX RecommendedOption 2: Standalone ordering URL
The ordering system lives at a separate URL (e.g. order.yourrestaurant.com or yourrestaurant.food-ordering.com). An "Order Online" button on your website links to this URL. Simple to implement — just add a button to your existing site that links to the ordering URL.
Simplest setupOption 3: QR code menu (table service or takeaway)
Each table (or pickup area) has a unique QR code. Scanning the code opens the ordering system with the table/collection reference pre-populated. No app required for the customer. Works for dine-in ordering without paper menus, and for click-and-collect at the counter.

Adding Food-Ordering.com to your restaurant website requires:
- Access to your website's page editor or HTML (to add the embed code or button link)
- A domain or subdomain to point at the ordering system (for standalone URL option)
- An SSL certificate on your main website (standard on all modern hosting platforms)
We provide the embed code, the ordering URL, and step-by-step instructions for all common website platforms. Most integrations are completed in under one hour.
Platforms we integrate with
- WordPress: Paste the embed code into a page block. No plugin required.
- Squarespace: Use a Code Block to add the embed on any page.
- Wix: Use the Wix HTML Embed element.
- Custom HTML/PHP sites: Paste the iframe code into any page template.
- No website: We configure a standalone ordering URL — your ordering system works without any other website.
Frequently asked questions
Can I keep my Deliveroo/Just Eat listing while also taking direct orders?
Yes. Many restaurants operate both simultaneously. Platforms provide discovery and reach; direct ordering on your own website builds loyalty and retains margin. The strategy for most restaurants is to convert repeat customers to direct ordering (via packaging inserts, receipt prompts, social media), while keeping platform listings for new customer acquisition.
How long does setup take from purchase to first live order?
Menu entry and configuration typically takes 1–3 days. Website integration (adding the embed or button) takes under an hour. Most restaurants take their first live order within one week of purchase.
